We are seeking a highly efficient and experienced Bid Office Manager to join our team at Sourceworx. Reporting to the Sales Manager, this collaborative and high-pressure role requires managing large and complex bids, including internal collaboration activities, while meeting strict deadlines. The Senior Bid Manager will develop bid strategies, lobby, and maintain strong links within government, public, and private sectors to position Sourceworx to win major bids. You will lead the bid response, ensuring effective communication with all internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the bid process, identifying and managing the requirements for each bid.

• Develop and execute bid strategies aligned with Sourceworx’s goals and client needs.

• Client liaison to gain intelligence on forthcoming bids.

• Manage the bid pipeline using approved sales leads systems on D365 Sales CRM or Similar.

• Complete and return Expressions of Interest (EOI) or Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQ).

• Evaluate tender documentation and provide guidance to stakeholders on submission requirements.

• Maintain an up-to-date bid program, ensuring all activities are on track with required timeframes.

• Act as a single point of contact with clients, ensuring prompt responses to clarifications or further information requests.

• Write and collate cohesive tender submissions in line with the agreed bid strategy.

• Work with pricing teams to achieve the best technical and price solution.

• Prepare internal approval papers, arranging sign-off meetings in line with bid governance.

• Minimize risk exposure on bids, particularly regarding contract terms and conditions.

• Build a knowledge base of bids, including FAQs, CVs, case studies, etc.

• Monitor and measure bid performance using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), ensuring all departments provide high-level service.

• Maintain accurate bid reports for management, analyzing wins/losses and identifying improvement areas.

• Support the operations team in handing over knowledge of successful bids and assist in delivering to clients’ expectations.

• Constantly monitor tender searches and industry reports to identify potential opportunities.

• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and maintain awareness of Sourceworx's core capabilities.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.

• 7-8 years of experience in Sales, Account Management, and Bid Management.

• Proven experience in planning and delivering compliant proposals within complex environments.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present at C-suite level.

• Technical background with established commercial experience in a senior sales environment.

• Knowledge of public and private sector bid requirements.

• Proficiency in bid management software and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).

• Strong negotiation skills and ability to meet aggressive timelines.

• Ability to prioritize, manage multiple bids simultaneously, and work well under pressure.
