Purpose

The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth across Sourceworx’s Network Operations Centre (NOC), managed network services, and related infrastructure‑support offerings. The role aims to expand client adoption of Sourceworx’s national network support capabilities, 24/7 monitoring, service management, and network optimisation services, consistent with Sourceworx’s technical operating environment

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Account Management: Expand footprint in existing accounts by identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities. Build multi-offer proposals and manage executive-level relationships.

• Pipeline Ownership: Maintain weighted pipeline coverage ≥3x quarterly target. Drive late-stage progression and conversion to wins.

• Opportunity Leadership: Lead sales pursuits; ensure eligibility packs and compliance. Collaborate internally on strategic opportunities.

• Mentorship: Coach Junior BDMs on opportunity creation, meeting discipline, and CRM hygiene.

• Governance & Reporting: Enforce in-house CRM standards and report on KPIs

Minimum Qualifications

• Matric Certificate required.

• Degree in Sales/Marketing or Business Management (preferred).

• 5+ years’ experience in ICT sales with a proven track record in solution selling.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.

• Strong understanding of ICT sales strategy, including Network Management Services
