Job Summary:

The Sales Manager will oversee the development and execution of sales strategies, bid management, and marketing initiatives. This role requires a dynamic leader with a strong background in IT sales, bid management, and marketing to drive growth and ensure the successful acquisition of new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Management: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence.
  • Bid Management: Oversee the end-to-end bid process, including opportunity identification, bid strategy development, and proposal submission.
  • Marketing Strategy: Create and execute marketing plans to promote Sourceworx's products and services, enhancing brand visibility and market penetration.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of sales, bids, and marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape, informing strategic decisions.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report on sales, bids, and marketing performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Budget Management: Manage budgets for sales, bids, and marketing activities, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
  • Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with legal standards, industry regulations, and Sourceworx's internal policies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in sales, bid management, and marketing, preferably in the IT industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing successful bids.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.


Preferred Skills:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent.
  • APMP certification or equivalent.
  • Experience with public sector bids and tenders.
  • Knowledge of IT solutions and services.
